Lets be for the beaches together

We're so excited for SHOPPING FOR A MISSION! This annual food drive is designed to help stock the shelves of BEAM's Food Bank. Serve groups will be collecting food donations at Marsh Landing, Jax Beach, and Neptune Beach Publix locations from 9:00am-1:30 p.m. on Sunday, March 27. Let's donate, collect, and be FOR the Beaches!

This is a great opportunity to live out the SERVE aspect of our vision as a we help those in need through this worthy organization. It's also a way to get someone involved who may be more hesitant to come to church but who may be interested in doing things for the betterment of our community.

What's really great about BEAM's Food Bank is that BEAM clients select their food in a mini-supermarket environment rather than being given a pre-packaged bag. This way they don't go home with items they may not be familiar with or want to use. This approach empowers the clients to choose what best meets their families’ needs and is considered a “best practice” model in the non-profit community.

Be FOR the Beaches by supporting BEAM through filling their Food Pantry with the following items:
Canned Fruit
Oatmeal
Grits
Shelf stable protein ( tuna, chicken, spam, ham, Vienna sausage, etc )
Soup/meal in a can

Look for the donation truck in the publix area locations mentioned above!
