who is jesus?
This question has been asked over and over in our world. Some say Jesus was a great moral teacher. Some say Jesus was a liar and lunatic. Some say Jesus didn’t exist at all. So who is Jesus and why does He matter in our lives?
Here at Beach Church, we believe Jesus is the single most important being to ever walk this earth. We believe that in an amazing mystery, He is fully God and fully man. We believe Jesus lived a perfect life, and spent His time loving, teaching, and reaching people. We believe Jesus died on the cross as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of the world. And after 3 days, we believe Jesus rose from the dead to demonstrate His power over sin and death. We believe He now lives in Heaven, reigning and praying on our behalf until He returns again. Until then, we believe He gave us the Holy Spirit to provide us with counsel and courage.
To put it simply: we believe Jesus loves you, Jesus is for you, and Jesus is willing to do whatever it takes to have a relationship with you.
