INVITE A FRIEND THIS CHRISTMAS SEASON
How to write an invite card
We know writing letters and postcards are no easy task, but this is a great way to invite someone to our Christmas series, Peace! If you’re joining us on our Jax Beach Campus, we’ll have bundles of postcards for you to take home and send hand-written invitations to loved ones and friends. If you’re joining us online, send them a text or just pick up a few Christmas cards and mail them out with a heartfelt message.
We think this could be such a special way to bring a little Christmas joy to someone in your life this season and get them excited about hearing a message of hope and peace during a time that can often feel anything but peaceful. Ask them how they are doing, tell them that you hope they’re having a good Christmas season, and invite them to the specific service(s) where you’d like them to join you. Between the series, Christmas Eve, and our special Christmas Day celebration (online only), there are plenty of options for them to attend with you in person or online.
MUSIC TO LISTEN TO WHILE YOU WRITE
Sometimes is hard to get in the mood for Christmas when it’s not quite upon us. We’ve created a specially curated list of Christmas music to get you in the Christmas spirit while you craft these invitations.
Examples to Inspire you
Dear John,
You are such a good friend. I know that life can be difficult at times, but there is a hope and peace that can be found in the person of Jesus. I would for you to join me on December 4 as our church begins our Christmas series, Peace. I’ll be there at 9:00 and meet you in the lobby!
Love,
Jane
Hey, Steve!
You’ve been such a great co-worker these last few years. I very much value our friendship. My wife and I attend Beach Church, and we’re going to have an incredible Christmas Eve Service at 1:00, 3:00, or 5:00 pm. We’d love it if you’d join us and could attend whichever service you and your family would like. Click the QR code for more details and just let us know when you guys would like to go!
Regards,
Andy
Dear Aunt Suzy,
I’m so sorry you’re not going to be able to join us in person this Christmas Day. We will miss you, but I’ve got some great news. Beach Church is having an awesome celebration, online only, and we’re going to gather around the tv at 10:00. I know it’s not the same as being together, but we’d love for you to watch it with us and see the excitement and anticipation for the New Year! We can even FaceTime each other and watch together!
Love,
Marion
